Most clothing listings need a clear front view, back and side views, and close-ups of the fabric and details. Each marketplace sets its own image count, from at least 2 on Flipkart to up to 14 on AJIO per published seller guidelines, so confirm in your seller portal. What do the marketplaces say about image count?

Here's what published seller guidelines say about how many images to upload and which views to include, checked on 4 Nov 2026.

• Amazon India: 5 model images. Front view as the main image, on a standing model (adults). Amazon India apparel page; main-image views per Amazon's global clothing style guides (guide)
• Flipkart: At least 2, 3 preferred. Front and back required; side optional. Fynd's Flipkart guidelines
• Myntra: 5–7 per variant for bulk upload. Front, side and back; details as separate photos. Fynd's Myntra guidelines
• AJIO: Up to 14. Front, side, back and detail, plus a separate swatch image. Fynd's AJIO guidelines
• Nykaa Fashion: At least 5 angles. Exact views not published: check your seller portal. Fynd's Nykaa guidelines
• Meesho: At least 1, more recommended. A clear front image first. Meesho supplier guide

A few notes on where these come from:

• Amazon: the 5 model images figure is from Amazon India's own apparel selling page. The main-image rules come from Amazon's global clothing style guides, not an Amazon India guide; each colour variant also needs its own main image.
• Flipkart, Myntra, AJIO and Nykaa: these come from Fynd, a third-party listing partner that publishes each marketplace's guidelines. The marketplaces' own seller portals need a login.
• Meesho: detailed image rules are inside the Supplier Panel.

Which views should every garment have?

Whatever the marketplace, buyers want to answer the same questions: what does it look like on, how does it fit, and what is the fabric like? The right views depend on the garment and where you sell, so agree your shot list before the shoot. You can send us your shot list requirements in advance, including any views your marketplace asks for.

How many photos does CPH deliver per garment?

For combined catalogue shoots, CPH delivers 6–7 final edited pictures per garment, typically 5–6 working days from the shoot date. That covers Amazon India's 5 model images, Flipkart's minimum, Nykaa Fashion's 5 angles and Myntra's 5–7 for bulk upload. For AJIO, which allows up to 14, agree any extra views before the shoot.

Can one shoot cover several marketplaces?

Yes. One shoot usually gives you a set you can use across Meesho, Amazon, Myntra and Flipkart. Tell us where you plan to sell before the shoot, and send your shot list requirements.

• Resizing and export: we resize and export the pictures for one marketplace of your choice.
• HD files: you also get HD 300 dpi images that you can crop and use as needed for other marketplaces, your website or WhatsApp. Marketplaces judge images by pixel size, not dpi, which is why these HD files work as a crop-ready master.
• White background: a front-pose image on a white background, if needed.
• File format: JPEG, generally at 96 dpi and 300 dpi. If you prefer, we can deliver WebP instead of JPEG on request (one format or the other, not both).

Do I need a minimum number of garments?

No. Combined catalogue shoots have no MOQ and are charged per garment. Garments from different clients are clubbed into a shared shoot on a set you approve.
