Real model shoots or AI/CGI imagery?

Choose real model photography when you need to show an actual garment worn by a person. AI/CGI-generated imagery is a separate creative option that needs clear labelling and checks against the real product. CPH Studio offers both; the right choice depends on the brief, required detail and intended publishing channel.

Real model photography.

A camera records a real person wearing the garment. This lets you plan views of the actual drape, fit, pallu, border, stitching and fabric details. Lighting, posing, styling and editing still affect how the garment appears.

At CPH, saree photography is on real models only. Share the required views and any important details before the shoot.

AI/CGI-generated imagery.

Generated imagery is created or constructed digitally. It can depict a styled scene, but it should not be treated as proof of how a real garment fits or drapes on a person. Check the output for changes to patterns, borders, embellishments, shape and colour.

Label generated visuals clearly. Do not describe them as photographs from a real model shoot.

Choose by use, not assumptions.

For product listings, first confirm the channel’s current image rules, including whether generated imagery is accepted for that category and image slot. For creative campaigns, agree what the image should communicate and how it will be labelled.

Neither approach comes with a guaranteed sales outcome. Compare the quoted scope, required source material, review process and delivered files. Do not assume one is always cheaper or faster.

Questions to bring to your brief.

Which garment details must remain exact? Do buyers need real model views? Where will the images appear? What rules apply to each image slot? How will generated content be identified?

Send CPH the collection references and intended use. Photography and AI/CGI are quoted and scoped separately.

Plan your next step.
